As far as anyone is concerned there is nothing to get in the way of sailing from the coastal town of Penzance - once a haven for pirates and smugglers - to the paradise Isles of Scilly floating in the sea off Cornwall. True there are rocks, jagged as shark's teeth lying just beneath the waves, which over the centuries have destroyed many a merchant vessel and crew, leaving the ship's booty of food, clothing, furniture and gold to wash up on the beaches and be scavenged in the dead of night by sharp-eyed villagers. But now the lethal rocks are well charted and marked so the waterways are safe for those who venture between. Or so it is believed.

Little do most know that halfway betwixt the two land masses exisits an island of the highest magic. Somewhere beneath it lies the sunken kingdom of Lyonesse, also called Avalon, where King Arthur, mortally wounded in battle, was spirited away by the fairies. As with Lyonesse, Ravensbreath Island is not Earthbound, which explains many unexplainable things. Ravensbreath Island is magic unto itself and unseen, but for those meant to see it and when they do - ooooo too late. Perched high atop the island of blood-red stone is Ravensbreath Castle - a haunted fortress of forgotten souls, some of them children, ghost children who are lost and fading away. This is where you can glimpse the ghost orphans of Ravensbreath Castle until their book is finished, then you can read all about them and the others. Do come in and meet the children, while they still linger - they will haunt you forever.
