The Haunted Ghost Orphans of Ravensbreath Castle, dolls and story by Leigh Allan

Annabel Lee and poor Percy are in the wardrobe wearing only their Birthday Suits ~ or should that be, Deathday Suits?
Annabel's forever playing nautghty tricks and practical jokes on the people and ghost children who live in the castle

How the Ghost Dolls are made

This is how the children (dolls) looked before dressing.

They are crudely but securely jointed to give them a seemingly playful limp flexible feel, but we know the real reason they're like this; they are fading and the wire joints demonstrate their wavering existence. Time is swiftly running out for the orphans.

Each doll is individually handcrafted from polymer clay, fired and handpainted with Genisis oil paints.

Their hair is Tibetan Lamb's wool except in the case of Toby whose hair is old recycled fur. Fine fabrics are used, some vintage and rare. They've been suitably distressed and singed over 400 years!

There may be more ghost orphans lurking somewhere in the dark corners of Ravensbreath Castle but none to my knowledge, at least not at this time.

I am writing the book and names and facts may change many times before I'm through. I hope you will be around to read it someday. Thank you for reading thus far. MLA
